Lexi acts as counsel, arbitrator, and mediator, specializing in complex international disputes.
Lexi is experienced in handling commercial and investor-State arbitrations, as well as litigation before courts in the U.S. and abroad. She also advises clients on a range of public international law and private commercial issues.
Lexi is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Reserve Panel of Arbitrators for the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. She is also an adjunct professor of International Commercial and Investor-State Arbitration at Vanderbilt University Law School.
Recognized by both Who’s Who Legal / Lexology Index as a Future Leader in International Arbitration and Legal 500 as part of its Arbitration Powerlist for Southeast Asia for multiple consecutive years, Lexi has acted as counsel for corporate and sovereign clients in dozens of arbitration matters under most major institutional rules, as well as cross-border disputes before courts in the United States, England and Wales, and throughout Asia and the Middle East. She is widely published on international arbitration and investment law matters and regularly speaks and conducts trainings on international dispute resolution topics.
Lexi was formerly a senior member of the world-leading international disputes team at Freshfields, based in New York, Tokyo, and Singapore. She was also Of Counsel at Chambers-ranked international disputes boutique, Mascarenhas Law PLLC.
She is an Executive Committee member and Chair-Elect of the Oregon State Bar’s International Law Section. She is also a member of the Steering Committee for the North America Branch of the International Federation for Investment Law and Arbitration.
Lexi maintains an active pro bono practice and serves as a volunteer mediator for the Multnomah County Circuit Small Claims Court.
Lexi is qualified to practice in New York and Oregon.
